Hawktown

Hawk Town is about a slumlord in suburbia. Each season has a narrative arc that allows the characters to evolve over time. The viewers are rewarded for watching the full season while each episode stands on it's own as an adventure and as a satire of contemporary life.

This will be the first animated show where the characters physically grow and actually respond to events from previous episodes.

Each episode has two stories-lines that are intertwined at the end. The stories are multiple source adventure-satires and the social issues are brought in on a more subtle level in the background rather than as the central story.

Why "Hawk Town"?

The giant, permanent cloud of hawks above Hawk Town serve as a secondary character and occasionally a hawk will fly down become a part of the story. The hawks are nearly deafening, but somehow after about five minutes, people just tune them out. People for the most part ignore them, they don’t seem to eat and never crap on the citizens so it has been written off as a bizarre anomaly. The town is a nice little suburb in the middle of a “moat-like” twenty mile desert but just past that is “the big city”.
